Not sure what to say?

I was very sad to hear that Bill lost his battle with cancer. I worked with him at Visiting Nurse Service and so enjoyed hearing about his coaching, his children, his life, a genuine and caring man with a great sense of humor. I sent him a card of support, and he sent me a thank you card back - so glad I kept that card. Rest now, Obi Wan.

My heart is broken. Bill was my roommate in college and someone who I have missed since graduation. To his family you have been blessed by a special person. May God bless and comfort you during this time without him. I am an oncologist and look forward to seeing him again in glory

Bill was a great teammate and a great guy. We were baseball teammates at U of R for four years. I have a lot of fond memories.

One of my favorite people, laughed and taught and inspiration to players students and officials. So sorry but we will see him again.

I was very sad to learn of Bill's death. He was a great friend and teammate at Rochester, and an even greater friend when we shared an apartment in Syracuse while in grad school. My condolences go to all his family. I know I will miss his smile and "trash talk".

Janet and boys,

I am so sorry to read of Bill's passing. Bill was a wonderful guy, so full of life and energy. Extremely proud of his family and friendly and helpful to all.
