Dr Huffines was always a fun loving man and loved his kids dearly. He treated me like one of his own. He used to call us "Knucks" short for knuckleheads. Howie, Jay, Robin and Robert I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad will always hold a special place in my heart

UNC Pathology staff & Dr. Wm. Huffines1966

Dr. Huffines was a fine gentleman and a good friend to those of us who had the good fortune to know him. He was the same person with students and technicians as he was with fellow medical staff and administrators. Many of us and the University benefited greatly from his long years of service. Roy Weaver, M.D.

Julie, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sorry.
