It is never easy to lose a loved one. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. I am a cousin from TX who admired Bill and was sad that he lived so far away. His parents, Charles and Netsie, were so gracious to my mother, Viola, and to me when I was growing up. I visited in their home in Ventura as a teenager and will never forget their hospitality. My condolences to Dana and family. Bill was a wonderful and involved man in Ojai. He will be greatly missed by all he came in contact with. I will always remember him in the tennis community.

We saw a lot of Bill when he worked with my dad in the Santa Cruz Island club. I remember rooting for the Rams in the playoffs with Bill as a little kid. He bled Rams, but the Vikings always won.
