Not sure what to say?

Dear Jacqui,

I learned just yesterday of Bill's passing. Arva Parks McCabe sent word.

You and Bill moved from our Poinciana neighborhood before I got a chance to know Turner and Jackson, but my advice to them is to follow in their dad's footsteps. Bill had the big picture of life - domestically, socially and professionally.

Who of us is likely to forget your wedding? As the minister said, "I pronounce you man and wife" the Biltmore Golf Course...

Dearest Jacqui,
Thank you for sending me a draft of Huggett's Obit. It is so well expressed and encapsulates his vast life in such a beautiful way. I cannot tell you how sad I am over your loss. Huggett was an amazing man and the best friend anyone could ever ask for. My family and I have known Bill for over thirty years and his passing definitely marks the end of an era (for me anyway). He was so much a part of the Grove when I lived there. Moving to New York around the time that you...

Dear Jacqui

Although I only knew you and your husband through Jrs., I knew you were wonderful people that always gave of yourselves. I know he will leave a big void in your heart and your children's hearts. You are loved by many who have known and admired you over the years. God will watch over you forever!
If you ever need a friend, just call!

God Bless

Ceil Hartney

Dear Jacqui and Family, there are many more broken hearts in the world now because of this loss. You are much loved (by everyone) and will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jacqui, Turner , and Jackson,
We all love Huggett. But not like you do. You are so fortunate to have had a husband and father like him. He was definitely a "One in a Million"!
Jacqui, just like you said, he was a giant of a man. He always made a person feel special, the way he talked to you and the way he smiled at you. And what a smile! It was forever there. Seemingly permanent.
I will always remember the way he would lead the singing of the Christmas carols at...

Dear Jacqui, How fortunate and blessed we are to have known a man like Huggett. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Jackson and John.

Jacqui...I will always remember the bright days of the 80's & 90's. The parties, Huggett's sense of humor, his wry smile and professional attitude toward his profession. I looked forward every year to those family christmas cards with tales of adventure with you and the boys. I am saddened by your loss. david

Dear Jacqui,

I am so sorry and saddened by the loss of your wonderful husband.

Bill was one of a kind. A great friend and a caring and generous person.

Please accept my sincere condolences.

I was the court reporter on a case
with Bill Huggett in 1994 (Pierard
vs. Aerospatiale). I still recall
Mr. Huggett as the consummate
professional and always filled with
warmth and good humor. Miami and
the whole country has lost a great
fighter for the rights of those
who have met with harm or loss.
Bill Huggett will be sorely missed.
