It was a pleasure for over 20 years working with
'Buzzy' at the EMCFW. I enjoyed the gifts he remembered to bring from vacations. Also having breakfast in Somerville was a wonderful treat. So bless you family.

Hi Pam & Kevin,
Both my husband and myself are saddened to hear of your father's death. Hundley and I were co-workers at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton, NJ. I lasted long enough to retire from the DOC-EMCF because Hundley guided me through legal endeavors. Hundley loved sharing Black history information and we often talked about the old old gospel music. He often sent me a cassette tape of Mahalia Jackson's singing. We talked over the phone for hours but I...

Buz was my historical pal. He and I collaborated on so much Black History over the years . His passion for family history was exemplary - he leaves a wonderful legacy. My condolances , his was a life well lived.

My late husband attended Somerville High with Buzz. His name was Tom Curran. Tom died in 2009,I am sure Tom was one of the Welcoming Saints led by your beloved Mom to welcome Buzz into Pradise. I think Tom and your dad were in dance band or marching band. I remember years ago,Tom and I ran into your Dad in downtown Somerville. Both the fellows reminisced and laughed together about the past.
