A wonderful person I had the opportunity to know and share happy and challenging...

My wife and I first met Bill when he lived at Channel Islands Harbor and could look down on his yacht. We sailed on a boat that was docked only a few slips away, and since Bill was an enthusiatic sailor, we became good friends.
When Bill owned the 42' Morgan, he asked me to crew in a race, and I readily accepted. The day of the race, another crew member failed to show up. Bill said we would not qualify but wanted to race, so we arrived late at the start line with the fleet ahead of us....
