When I was a little girl in 1972 Doctor Hurst work at the Old Conroe Hospital. We had just moved to Conroe and didn't have a family doctor. I fell into a ditch and broke my arm. I was waiting in Emergency room screaming my head off, so of course he noticed me. He thought I had been taking care of and he went to lunch and came back and I was still waiting. He stopped looked at me, looked at the staff who told him we didn't have a family doctor. Dr. Hurst said they do now and reached down scooped me up in his arms and my parents knew then we had found a family doctor and a famliy man, with a BIG heart. R.I.P. I am the lucky one who was fortunate to know Dr. Hurst (Billy Bob). He was a wonderful person and father. My heart felt sympathy goes to his daughter Janice (my friend for many years)and Jane Carol and all of the rest of the family. I know it takes a while to get thru these times but eventually we do and we always have the great memories they have left with us to cherish. My love to you all and I will keep you in my prayers.
