Not sure what to say?

You were a shining light in all that you did. Such joyful memories of your humor. God will love your stories. Kiwanis will miss your pleasant company.

For some reason, our names were omitted from our October 19 post begining "It's taken.." Our apologies.

It's taken us 10 days to come to terms with Dick's death. He was such a force of nature that it's difficult to imagine life without him. Brilliant writer, raconteur, bon vivant and master of the double entendre are just several of the adjectives that come to mind but none seem due him justice. Dick leaves behind more than a trail of fond memories, he a leaves well worn road on which we were delighted to rides with him on part of his great journey. We will miss the many happy times with Dick...

Dick, you will be deeply missed. I loved our conversations, your stories, your written word, your laugh, and your quick wit. Until we meet again my friend.

Dear Arlene, we still think of both of you w/fondness and know you will miss Dick. He was such a good minister and story teller. Our best to you, The Petersen's previously of Georgetown now of Colorado Springs.

Arlene and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
May peace be with you.

I too, will miss this sinister minister. I too, was born in Oklahoma. I too was a Methodist, growing up within a country church in the wildwood. Also, enjoyed his stories in the newspaper. Dick, you will be missed and not forgotten.

We give deep thanks for this delightful, irrepressible spirit that touched us all with his merry pranks! Our hearts are very much with Arlene and the family. Dick leaves a lasting legacy indeed! Sent with much love.

Dear Richard! He was one of our close Seminary Brothers! We had many close times together and he was always at the heart of the laughter! My husband Hugh Hardin died several years ago and Richard and Arlene have been very supportive. Richard and I were the last of large families and I always felt we understood each other. May
God bless him and keep him. And love to all the children and especially Arlene. Love, Betty Hardin
