My sincere condolences to the Hyland family. Bill came to Riker, Danzig those many years ago, having served New Jersey so ably and tirelessly in the Legislature, at the Board of Public Utilities and as our Attorney General. Bill and I started a long and wonderful friendship when we started in Wharton School, U. of P. back in the 40's. We sat next to each other in Freshman accounting.
Thereafter, it is amazing the numerous
pursuiits that we partook of, almost paralelling each other: Wharton School 4 years; Penn Law School, from beginning until graduation; both "played the axe" in several bands in Naples, Florida; wives joined us in many golf endeavors in Florida, as well as alumni festivities.
