I recently learned and was very saddened, feeling great remorse for all Bill's family. My son had played in Bill's rink this past spring and we had a great conversation regarding life and our future plans/wishes. Bill spoke with great sincerity and praise of his family; my wife and son appreciated his time with us. We had fallen out of touch since FDU, he was a great one there and had a great life after; our deepest condolences. Dan, Leta and Michael Russ (football friend from FDU).

My prayers are with you all at this most difficult time. I had the pleasure of dealing with Bill through hockey channels and his love of sports and all children, especially his own, made him so special to so many. It is so unfair that he has so much more life to live. I hope you take some comfort in knowing how many lives he touched and how much he adored his family.

My Dear Irving Family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bill's passing. From the Predators to all my dealing with him in Woodbridge Bill stood out as one of the best people I have ever known in the hockey world. I am sorry for your loss and may God Bless you all.
