I continue to be so sad at Bill's death. He was my best friend forever. I loved him so much. He was the gentlest, sweetest person alive. He was always there for me. We grew up together. Our paths separated but from time to time brought us back together. I spoke to him recently. We had lunch in NYC. He looked good, a crisp white shirt. His breathing strained. He had asbestosis.
