Not sure what to say?

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your family at this most difficult time. Our daughter, Justine, was in the freshman orientation group with Willie last June at IC. Although she regrets not getting to know him better, she remembers enjoying his company in the orientation group. Know that Willie's memory will live on through those whose lives he has touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless you and your family.

Patty:
Even though I never actually met Willie, I felt that I knew him through you. Your pride and love for both of your sons was/is always evident through your stories. My prayer for you is that God will give you peace, because I know that nothing I can say to alleviate your grief. I am truly, deeply sorry for your loss.
Take Care

My heart reaches out to you in a huge way, Patty! We shared so many "mothers of high school seniors" stories together last spring and summer when you were still at Carlson, that I feel like we got to know one another's kids a little bit. I am so sorry that you have lost your Willie. Such a great loss and so sad to have his life cut so short. May you and Alex surround yourselves with all of your wonderful memories of Willie as you hold one another dearly.

I am so deeply sorry for your lose. I feel some connection to you because our son also attended Ithaca College.

Patty...my heart BROKE when I realized that this was YOUR Willie!!! I was totally stunned. I've thought of you so often, even before this tragedy, but especially now. You and Alex are in my prayers!

Dear Patty and Alex,
We can't even begin to express the sorrow we feel for you. We know Willie to be a bright and wonderful young man and we know he is greatly missed.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Our prayers and love are with you both.
Sincerely,
Dave and Sherri

Patti & Alex,
Karen & I are thinking of you at this very difficult time. My memory of Willie is driving my boat on Lake Pepin and looking very "cool" and confident. Willie was a wise and compassionate guy.

Patty,

I am praying that God gives you strength beyond what you can imagine! You have been through so much. I am just praying that God wraps his arms around you and holds you tightly and that he shows you a strong light that keeps you at peace! We have so enjoyed seeing you at Pam's and know how much your family means to Pam.
Love,

Stacie and Craig Prescher

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. I had the amazing opportunity to meet your son right before Christmas when I drove my son, Zach and Willie back to New York, with Willie flying home the next day. From that one time meeting and from things that Zach has said about Willie he was an amazing person, but I believe after what you did to help those kids at Ithaca College you passed along those qualities to him.
My sincerest condolences,
Suzanne Puls
