JANKE WILLIAM FRED JANKE, brother of Herbert (Laverne) and Hildegard Lau (Hans, deceased). Born May 21, 1927; departed this earthly life to reunite with his beloved parents Wanda and William in Heaven on May 1, 2004. Bill leaves his loving family to treasure precious memories; Joanne (nee Fleder), his devoted, caring, loving wife of 55 years, children, Lynette, Shariann Hall (Andy), Janel James (Brian), Mark and Matthew (Kim); 14 grandchildren: Karmi, Ryan, Aaron, Whitney, Jessica, Emily, Rachel, Samantha, Chelsea, Christian, Luke, Jonathan, Ianna and Ian. Retiring as a Linotype Operator from the Cleveland Press in 1969, Bill ran his own typesetting business until he took up his real passion; fishing full time on Lake Erie in 1989. His wife and children have myriad memories of great camping and boating trips to Ohio State Parks and Canada and his children and grandchildren loved to visit him and Joanne at Marine City Yacht Club, Marblehead. All are grateful for the good christian home and comfortable life which he provided them. He will live forever in the hearts of his children and grandchildren. U.S. Army Veteran and U.S. Navy Veteran. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethany Evangelical Church, 6041 Ridge Rd. , or the Hospice of Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St. Service at the funeral home Wednesday May 5 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Lutheran Cemetery. Joanne and Family:

We were sorry to learn of Bill's passing from Jack Terbreck on Monday morning. Our prayers are with you and if you need anything done at Marine City, please let us know! Lowell & Sue Chapman, Lot #72, MCYC.

Dear Aunt Joanne & Family,

We would like to express our sympathy to everyone.

We remember one time when Dan and I stayed there and the wonderful breakfast Uncle Bill made with hash browns. They were delicious!

I know he will be greatly missed!

Love Dan & Valerie Lau & Family
