Not sure what to say?

Dear Lyn, Marianne, and Bill, Sad to hear of the passing of your Dad. Your parents and my parents were such good friends. Your mom was what Dad would call "a pistol ball" and your dad and my dad looked a lot alike and my parents admired both of your parents enormously. I cherish my happy memories of your parents and of the time spent at El Dorado. Especially, Lyn, when my evil brother Evan signed me up to play in that girls' tournament! I send my condolences and love to all of you and...

Sincere sympathies to family of Mack Jason, the exemplary prototype of the Grand Gentlmen of the POLO and Equine Community. We a salute his memory for the positive effects on family and friends throughout his great life. Respectfully, Maynard 'Mickey' Brittan- Polo Buddy.

29 years ago, I was passed to Mack from another VIP Polo star. Mack and I had a mutually satisfying horse/polo business relationship in the shared management of Donegal Farms North. He was always kind and fair and I know I'm a better person for making his aquaintance. Your soft laugh and quick smile - will be missed by all.

I have so many fond childhood memories of Mack at the Circus Club playing polo, at home with his loving family, and at the many social events at what was then "Nana's." What a warm and kind man he was! With a happy smile and cheerful words, he always made me feel welcome, and part of the family. He was a fine gentleman with a big heart, and an wonderful example to all of us. He will be sorely missed! Still, it makes me happy to think that he is reunited with Madelyn beyond the Pearly Gates....

Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult things we can go through. Mack was always so very proud of his family and what you have become. My deepest condolences to you.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Mack as I was very blessed to have had Mack in my life. In his quiet, compassionate, thoughtful way he mentored me as he did the many others who were fortunate enough to have known him. One thing he would counsel me on was “pleasant persistence” which I still...

Royal POLO match Eldorado Polo Club Desert 1986

Thomas G. Henry

Quality gentlemen of the World War II era such as Mack Jason are indeed, America's “greatest generation”. Mack validated it in everything he undertook - his impressive family, his businesses and of course a singularly “defining” avocation labeled polo. Mack played throughout the world and raised the bar wherever he went.

Polo Clubs worldwide would do well to have their players emulate Mack and proselytize his style and form throughout the polo world. No easy undertaking ---...
