Will
I will never forget you buddy. You are truly the best of the best. It was an absolute honor to serve with you.

Four years gone, and it still feels like it's been just last month. I miss knowing that you're out there doing what you love, and that you still had dreams unrealized. I can only be proud of the man you became, and grateful that I got to share my childhood with you. Although, I'm also sure you've been told to put the cigar out more than enough times in that place where heroes go.

You will never be forgotten. The Mighty 21 STS will be at your Camp tomorrow to give a reminder of why we are all here. Your friendship, honor and mentorship will always be in our hearts. Camp Jefferson Kandahar, Afghanistan has the Airmen and the Power to unleash on the enemy.
Miss you Brother!

As a retired Combat Controller, I was often drawn to visit the Combat Control School at Pope. I would generally see Will there, busy preparing for classroom duties. Although I did not know him well, we often spoke and I could tell he was a dedicated to his calling. Other instructors often spoke of his skills and ambitions. He is missed by his professional family.

Rest in Peace Will.

I think of you EVERY day. I love and miss you with all my heart. If I could I would have changed this in a second. Love you ALWAYS.

To the family of Tech. Sgt. William Jefferson:
Please know that just as your loved one remains in your hearts and minds; his sacrifice, and that of your family, remains with the people he died defending. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for his bravery and selflessness, or the heartache we feel for your loss. God bless and keep you always.

Your name came up today - and I wanted you to know you are not forgotten. Rest in peace.
