Pastor Brad Evans, Bill's retirement preacher

A Picture of Pastor Brad Evans Preaching at the Presbyterian Church of Coventry in Coventry, CT.

Bill Jellema starting coming to the Presbyterian Church of Coventry late into his retirement. I always enjoyed visiting with him after the Sermon in the Fellowship Hall. He seemed to really enjoy Pastor Brad's preaching and he always spoke well of his sermons. The Good News of Salvation offered in Jesus Christ was something that he was found of hearing and meditating upon.

I did not know William but thoroughly enjoyed reading about his life. It is so inspiring to read about people who excel in so many areas of life as he did. His love for life-long learning, his devotion to family and God, and his application of all of these blessings to his life uplifted countless people who were lucky enough to encounter him...and even those who did not, like me.

Blessings to your family.

so sorry to hear about your father's death. We enjoyed his time at Wartburg,Buzz and Miriam Levick

So sorry for your loss. While living in Storrs, Bill was my neighbor/friend. He walked every day and I always enjoyed our conversations. He was wonderful and always made me smile.
God Bless. May he rest in peace.

May the choirs of angels welcome William to his heavenly home.

It has been my great pleasure to know and befriend William. May he rest peacefully with Jesus. May God comfort his loved ones who remain. I will carry William's smile, laughter and beautiful voice in my heart always.
