As CEO of Memphis Goodwill, I found Bill to be an incredible source of wise advice. I remember a time when I was struggling with a very difficult decision for the company and Bill and I figured it out together on the back of a napkin. He was a very capable and knowledgeable businessman, and a good friend. I will really miss Bill. Condolences to all his loved ones.

I spent nearly 5 years of my professional life working under the Bill's leadership. He has helped shaped me as a leader and I will always be fond and immensely thankful for his mentorship as I continued my professional journey through the Goodwill movement. He was there for me when it was tough and it was through his counsel that I persevered and lead. Forever thankful for having known him and having worked alongside him. Bill was New Orleans, through and through. He will surely be missed.

I am so sad to read of this. I have many fond memories of Drago's oysters and french bread with Bill and my husband, Henry, who was on the Goodwill board...and also loved to sail, before his strokes.. Henry , too, has passed away... They' re probably sailing together now! / Helen
