Not sure what to say?

Lloyd took over the presidential reins at the University at a crucial time for Sac State football. We had hit rock bottom after the '76 and '77 seasons and were in need of someone in the administration that cared about the value of a successful football program to the University. Lloyd was of great value to Bob Mattos and aided by removing hurdles which, in turn, aided Bob in bringing a successful football program back to the University. Hey Fran, So sorry to hear about Lloyd's passing, the love of your life. The two of you had a wonderful life together. I know for you, after finishing your postal career that opened up the opportunity for you and Lloyd to travel to so many destinations. I know you have a broken heart, but you have the memories to cherish forever. Our hearts go out to you. With our deepest sympathy, Larry & Sue

God Bless You Fran. Lloyd was a blessing in all our lives

What a wonderful person to make music with. My condolences to Fran and Lloyd's family.

Francis, So sorry to hear about your husband passing. My condolences to you and your family. Ken

He was the first man I ever loved. He was my friend, supporter, mentor, my hero- but most of all, my father. There are stories enough to go on for years! He was a more wonderful man than words can ever say. I´ll love him & miss him everyday. TIL next time Dad - I love you. (Oldest daughter)

You will be missed. Lots of good musical memories. RIP dear friend.

Uncle Lloyd came into my life a little late, but held more of my heart than he probably realized. I will always remember how much he loved my Aunt. It was a privilege to have him in my life. I will truly miss him.

This is a very sad day. I just discovered dear Lloyd had passed away. What a privilege it was to know such a fine man. He will forever live on in my heart. He died on the same day as my dad. His sense of humor, fantastic trumpet and kind manner will live on in my heart in all my living days. So sad.
