Read MoreTom was a favorite uncle. When he worked he had to travel Sometimes. He had to come to Andrews Air Force base, which I lived near. My husband went to pick him up and he would Have dinner with us. We really enjoyed his visits. Otherwise We would not have gotten to know him. He seemed to always Be happy. He looked a lot like my Daddy Oscar. We will always Remember his nice visits.

My Uncle Tom was an inspiration and ideal to me. He pursued an education, raised three wonderful boys and worked hard to provide for them. He was cheerful and had a wonderful smile. His loss takes a little of our heart with him.
