Not sure what to say?

I have been a friend of Billy's for many years. He was a fantastic letter writer and I will miss his many stories. Billy was a very caring man. Please let me know when Billy's celebration will take place. 515-360-4029
Thank you!

Bill was a good friend, neighbor and endeared member of our close family - the Shortsville Senior "Lunch Bunch" which he attended without fail daily. I first met Bill many years ago during his Shortsville Post Office employment capacity while his beloved dogs Missy and Bear (who provided him so much love and affection) were still with him and gave him 24/7 unabated love and affection. I often observed Bill walking both together through our neighborhood. We'll miss you Bill and may you Rest...

Billy was a wonderful man, he loved bringing strawberries to me when I was his case manager at Office for the Aging, told me I didn't need to share! I hope he's fishing up in heaven, may God bless him, he will be missed tremendously.

Billy loved life, his dog Bear and meeting his friends at the fire hall. He was very proud of his German heritage and spoke some German. He was an avid gardener who taught me how to grow an amazing strawberry garden, which bore fruit the first year! Billy was always positive, hard working and met you with a smile. He will be very dearly missed.

God Bless you my friend,

Holly Krossber

Bill was one of the first neighbors that welcomed my family to Shortsville. He made our transition a easier one. He taught us where things were and the short cuts getting there. He taught us and showed us many things. He helped my dad and I through the worst time of our lives the loss of my mom right after we started moving in. Through the two years that we knew him he made us laugh and smile during his visits and dinners with my family. every morning we would see his smiling face going down...

He will be miss in the neighborhood!
