Not sure what to say?

The Officers and Crew of Submarine NR-1 send our condolences. We all did not know Mr. Katt personally, but only through his sponsorship of Submarine NR-1’s subscription to the Groton Base Subvets newsletter ‘Boat Notes.’ Either way, he was a great sponsor of the Subvets and he will be missed. His unselfishness taught us all that ‘Pride Runs Deep.’

Marge, I am sorry for your loss. I just finished trainging, so I did not read of Bill's death until now. He was such a wonderful person and it was such a pleasure to know him. Know that I will continue to pray for you and pray that the peace of God will comfort you. I love you!

Wants to thank all the friends and family and neighbors for all the many expressions of kindness showed to me during the lose of my beloved Bill. I was so blessed to enjoy the time that Bill and I spent together. Thanks for the memories. God bless you all.
Love to all,
Marge Rogers

Bill was an inspiration to us at Second Congregational church. Despite his physical challenge he worked fund raisers, supported the men’s club, always had a warm, friendly greeting and never complained. Before that he served his country and stood up for the law.
My heart goes out to Marge and all who were touched by this fine guy. Oh, I wish I knew ye longer, Bill.

To the Katt Family:
Although I was not in touch with your dad since my father Ed Katt, his btother passed away, Uncle Bill was always in my heart. I remember my visit to Massachusetts in 1965 the year my mother passed away. He made me feel so much better about life. His visits to Windsor on his motorcycle were always anticpated with great joy. He will be sadly missed, but not forgotten.
