Not sure what to say?

I am sending my sympathy to Bill's family and to all of us who enjoyed his energy and love of life. When I read his obituary I dug around in a trunk and found our photo from the Mentor High School Prom Bill young, handsome, and smiling in a white dinner jacket. We had a high school crowd that we hung with especially on Friday nights when we watched Ghoulardi, ate pizza, and shouted Turn Blue towards Parma. His parents were so proud of his military service and his mom would have him...

Mr. Keller was my 6th grade teacher. I remember laughing at his jokes and talking to him frequently about history and his time as a pilot. You will be missed.

Mr. Keller was such a kind and wonderful teacher. I had him as a teacher in 6th grade at Bellflower. I was an awkward kid at this age and he made me feel like I was special and could do anything. I was was horrible at history and his encouragement really made a difference for me... so much that I became an elementary teacher because I wanted to touch student's lives the way he has for so many. We might have been village idiots... but we all played a role in his classroom. We loved Iggy...

A wonderful teacher who inspired his students to learn. Sheila Hordinski (mother of 3 Bellflower students)

No words can express my sorrow. Mr. Keller was my teacher and a great influence on my life

I felt like our 2nd grade class at Center Street elementary school knew and loved Bill. His mother was our teacher back in the 1960s and clearly shared her love for Bill because to this day I remember his name. He followed her example and inspired many of his own students. Well done, good and faithful servant! May Bill's life and witness keep on bearing fruit in the next generation.

So sad to hear of this. I had Mr Keller in 5th grade at Bellflower elementary. My brother also had him as a teacher 5 years before me. He was one of the teachers that I remember, though my memory isn't that great now a days, that made going to school enjoyable. He will be missed. Hugs and prayers to his wife and family.

Dear Keller Family:

I always liked Bill and especially his Dad, Ted Keller. He was a high school classmate that I had deep respect for. He was a good man.
My deepest sympathy and condolences to all.

Wow, I'm stunned. Bill's Mom was my second grade teacher. We went to Camp Loretta outside of Painesville...in the summer of '54. HIs Mom was the one who broke the news that I had a "brand new baby sister." Diane was born 7/8/54...and thus is now 63. Bill and I graduated together from Mentor High Class of '64. RIP, Bill. I'm saving your obit and will never forget you.
