Not sure what to say?

msrg. bill is the most facsinating, kind, loving, well rounded individual i have ever met. he has been a friend of my husbands sister and brother in law for years. we met at george's mothers funeral. fr. bill officiated at the funeral in cincinnati. at that time fr. bill visited with our oldest son trey, and they became fast friends and fr. bill offered trey a job at florida state university. his passing has been very devastating to all. there is a memorial this weekend in washington...

Fr.Kerr was pastor of St.Thomas More in Tallahassee when I was a student at FSU. His quiet presence, gentle way, wise counsel, and delightful smile always welcomed and reassured. He affirmed and encouraged my pursuit of Religious Life and I credit him with the final 'push'. I have followed his travels since and was shocked at his sudden death. He 'chose life' and fostered it in others. May he live in Eternal Joy and know the blessing he has been for so many others.

Bill had a profound impact on my decision to puruse the priesthood. I still think back to his wise counsel and friendship over the years. May he rest in the fullness of life with God. Thank you!

To the family of Msgr. Kerr

We were fortunate to meet Msgr. Kerr while he was president of La Roche College in Pittsburgh. We felt like we had found our own little parish in the school chaple each Sunday morning. We had just moved to Pittsburgh and had some difficulty attempting to find a parish that we felt comfortable in joining. Several Sunday's after going to La Roche we knew we had found the right priest for our family. Our youngest son never complained about going to Mass...

To the family of William A. Kerr,

The pain, the grief, and the feelings of losing a loved one can be unbearable. At these times, we need comforting words to uplift us. My two favorite scriptures are Ecclesiastes 9:11 which states, "time and unforeseen occurrences befall us all." My second favorite scriptures is Isaiah 25: 8&9,"He will swallow up death forever..." I hope these two scriptures will bring you comfort just like they brought me comfort.

Agape' love

I was at FSU from 72-81. Fr. Kerr was a wonderful man and priest. I talked with him on many occasions. He always was very kind and wise. Many times his sermons seemed to be written directly to you. I remember he had a collie named "Bubbles". He was someone you could be yourself around and really talk to and joke with. He was the kind of priest you could dump a bag full of tribbles on.... and live to tell the tale! I will miss him until I see him again!+

I had the privilege of working in the office of St. Thomas More in the early 1970's. Father Kerr was our pastor. He was a wonderful spiritual and loving pastor. I am shocked at the news of his death, and to the parishioner's who remember those days... we will always have many wonderful memories. I will always remember.
