Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bill as a former staff member of the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safegurards for neraly the 20 years he was a Member. His warmth, keen wit, respect for others and towering intellect were the hallmarks of the man. I was particularly impressed that after Bill left the Committee, he would periodically call me to "catch up" and chat about issues of the day and to inquire about how I was doing. My deepest sympathy to the Kerr family.

Bill Kerr was a true gentleman who played a major role in the field of nuclear engineering. He will be sorely missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathy to the Kerr family. As a former student of Dr. Kerr's, I appreciate the school and life lessons he taught me during my years at Univ of Mich. I'll always remember his wry sense of humor and his integrity. I feel honored to have had a chance to know him.

Bill Kerr has been a towering figure, admired and respected by his students and colleagues. A mind that moved at the speed of light, an authoritative voice that spoke softly but commanded attention, he was a kind Southern gentleman with a clever joke always at the ready. This legendary figure has left a major hole in our hearts.

Dr. Kerr was always a source for inspiration. He lived such a good life.

We send our deepest sympathy to the family on the death of Bill. We have many fond memories of Bill and Ruth thru the Baptist Church. They were a dynamic duo! Warmest Regards, Linda and Bill Powers
