I loved Bill so much. He sure was one in a million. So kind, selfless, always shared his cookies from Astoria :) and he had the biggest heart!!
His Stories were always so amazing and his music was always playing when I walked in his home. He loved life and he loved his family....
I sure will miss you Bill... It was a pleasure to have known you ( and massaging your back and feet every Tuesday) sometimes he fell asleep and didn't even know that I had already finished...

We had many great conversations, and he always had something inspirational and fun to share. He was loved and admire by all who new knew him. He loved his first wife Pat very much, and we were thankful he met my mother Mary and that they could enjoy a few more special years together. We also are so thankful to have additional siblings and family in Sam and Craig and their...

Dad worked in the Swan Island shipyards. Mom was a Rosy Riveter for a few weeks in Oregon Shipyards. I knew Aldean went to work everyday, but I didn't realize that she was working in the shipyards. I loved her so...

I suppose he's one of the last of his generation that grew up in east Clatsop County, and it is sad to lose the history of that era with his passing. I am happy that I was able to speak to him via phone in recent...
