William H. Kilkenny

Our family is saddened by the passing of Bill. What a wonderful man. He was a part of our lives for many years. He loved his family and was a huge part of the community. He touched many lives in his 104 years!! We will always remember celebrating his 90th birthday in Hawaii! Until we see you again, Bill.

I knew Bill (and Doris) during the days that Maui was their "home away from home." They became a part our 'ohana (family) at Keawala`i Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) where I served as kahu (pastor) from 1991 to 2020. I count Bill and Doris as friends and will carry, in my heart, their aloha for Maui and for those of us who were a part of church family in Makena. Bill Kilkenny was an amazing businessman. He was always extremely nice to me and so interesting to talk to. It is wonderful that he stayed in this world so many years working with and caring family and friends. He will most definitely be missed.

I am sorry for your loss. I met Bill in Saudi Arabia when I was the resident Hyster rep in 1980 and again in Nijmegen a few years later. He remembered my name both times, an amazing skill. A true gentleman.

Bill Kilkenny was a great leader of Hyster Company. A wonderful person, a joy to work for and with, a delight to travel with. His smile, charm and warmth always lit up the room.
