Not sure what to say?

Father Bill King will always be remembered. The Masses he said every night at 10 pm in the small chapel in Marion Hall meant so much to me and other classmates. It didn't matter if you were the only person there, he'd still celebrate the Eucharist with you.
Bill always had a smile and was a great friend. He listened to my problems, sometimes for hours when I was still trying to discover my path in and response to life. What I particularly noticed, he was this person to everybody else...

Fr. King was the first person I met from Xavier University at a high school college fair in Chillicothe. It was our initial conversation that led me to learn about and apply to XU.

He was a great friend to me during very difficult times while a student there.

God bless him and keep him for evermore.

I read with sadness the passing of Fr. Bill King in today's Cincinnati Enquirer and wanted to send my condolences.

As a 1980 graduate of Xavier University, I have the fondest of memories of Bill. He was a kind, gentle and loving man who made Xavier the proud institution of learning that it is today. Bill was always available to the students to lend an ear and a heart.

He will be sorely missed by all who have known this great man. It is a sad day for Xavier, but we take...

Bill was a great freind, teacher and mentor to myself and many of my classmates at Xavier. He often spoke of his family and their support throughout his life. My sincere condolences to his family and to the Jesuit community.

Fr. Bill was my friend and a wonderful source of advice during my years at Xavier, (Marion Hall)and afterwards. He was just a fantastic person who would give you the shirt off his back. He had a great sense of humor, a love of art, and was a true friend to me and his many admirers. Fr. Bill embodied the Jesuit ideal of being a man for others. Heaven just got another great man. Rest in peace.

I just want to say that I am very saddened by the loss of Fr. King. I am a 1987 graduate of Xavier University. My sisters graduated in 1985 and 1990 respectively.

Fr. Bill always held a smile, was friendly and more that willing to help his students. He was also very passionate about Xavier and the success of their students.

I know there are so many Xavier graduates that feel the same way I do.

Thank you for your friendship Fr. Bill, you will be missed
...

Bill,

You have favorably touched so very many people!

Thanks for all you have done for me, my family and your Xavier family! I will always cherish your memory!

It is through you that I've felt the loving hand of God!

Peace be with you!

Bill King was the first Jesuit that I met at Xavier in 1983. He always made me feel welcome and special. He remained a dear friend throughout my adult life. He was one of three Jesuits that presided at my wedding.
Bill will be missed. His kindness and welcoming spirit will be remembered fondly by many.

Fr. Bill King was Xavier! Bill was the first Jesuit priest that I met there and he helped me really understand my life journey and how it brought me to Xavier.

As a 1985 graduate of Xavier, I had the honor of befriending Bill while I student there. My wife and I along with our children were invited to dinner with Bill on numerous occasions and we enjoyed every minute with him.

Godspeed Bill. Your passion for the Xavier community and your love for each one of us is well...
