I remember talking to Bill standing on sidelines at Parry McCluer football games when he was at WDBJ. Very knowledgeable and class guy. RIP sir

Living in Roanoke, I was well aware of Bill's work at WDBJ and then lost touch until I began working with Westminster Canterbury on their large expansion and there he was again. Bill was a very intelligent, fun guy to be around and work with.

I remember him well as a great sportscaster and humorous character at WDBJ-7 in Roanoke. Sorry for your loss King Family.

We spent many happy days on the Rappahanock River and Chesapeake Bay with Bill many, many years ago. May he rest in peace...

I just remember listening to his sports report on WDBJ. Rest in peace dear Bill.
