Not sure what to say?

I attend St. Andrew's church and used to sit by your Mom and Dad. Then he lost her and I would see him in ministry center and sometimes in the parking lot. They were dear people who loved the Lord and I so enjoyed knowing both of them. With our fire this year at church we are all lost and so I was sorry to read of his passing. I tried to get to the funeral yesterday but work kept me away. Know Jesus is holding both their hands and loves them so much.

I knew Jack from our Bible Study. He was always such a gentleman. He gave me his sweet potato casserole, delicious, I always think of him when I make it & will continue to do so. We all have missed him, since he was unable to attend. We'll all think of him always.

I met Jack and Betty some years ago at St Andrews. They were a delightful pair and as has already been said, Jack was such a gentle gentleman. My condolences to you, his family. He surely will be missed.

Anne,

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was, both, employer and friend. We talked a few times over the years, but not recently. Your dad was a wonderful man. Please know that thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

With deepest sympathy,
Fred and Carol Aldridge

Minh and I worked with Jack at Historic Charleston Foundation. He had a huge presence and while we have not seen him in about a decade, we have thought of him often. Your father was a wonderful man and we have missed seeing him.
He was so proud of his girls and spoke of you often.

He left quite a legacy here at HCF and is still remembered and spoken of.

I met Jack when he attended Chaplain Doffin's Tuesday Bible study at St. Andrew's Goose Creek location. He was such a great part of our group, frequently blessing us with those wonderful cookies from Costco. He had such a wonderful speaking voice and could read a Bible passage beautifully. We all missed him when he had to stop coming due to the great distance from his home to Goose Creek. He was truly a "gentle" gentleman. I am sure he was welcomed into Heaven with open arms.

Sincere sympathy on Jack's passing. The Kirby Family was loved by the Langdale community.
