Dear Jackie and family,

We are very saddened by your loss, our loss. We will remember him for his humor, his service to our country, his bold and beautiful hymn singing, his insight in our bible study, his Lutheran heritage, his down-to-earth demeanor, and all-in-all being a great all around person.

I wish we could have been at the funeral. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you struggle with your loss.

good man knew him from mount olive luthren church in cleveland ohio in the early 1980s

A wonderful man who will be missed greatly on this earth. During his time as interim pastor at Sherman Park Lutheran Church we were blessed with his wisdom and humor (and his awesome hymn singing). My prayers are with his family.
