I was shocked to learn of Bill's passing. I was "KO's" roommate @ SLU for 2 years. That was a fun time and we have a lot of great memories. Bill was a truly brilliant person. My sincere condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.

With a heavy heart for one of the best doctors I had ever worked with. He listened to us RN's and never made us feel bad. We had fun in the worst of times. If there was a doctor I trusted was Dr. Kohorst. I have missed the bunch of us that seemed had something to laugh about on the weekend shift. I want to find the picture of him wearing goofy glasses. Will never forget how smart he was, and how he treated me and his patients with respect.

Dr. Kohorst was a very special soul. He was genuine and extremely talented in his work. My mother went to him when I was little, I went to him once I became a teenager and he also saw my dad for a period of time. In a way, I grew up with him being in my life and he was always amazing with me. I just found out about his passing and my heart hurts for his family and loved ones. Prayers and best wishes to all of you. Both my parents have passed so he is in good company.
