I am so deeply saddened to read about Billy's untimely death. He was a good guy and my thoughts and prayers are with you all, although I haven't seen you for so many years. I know that Jimmy always looked up to him.

John Fiorentine just let me know what happened. How sad. Although I have not seen Billy since the 70's I have such great memories of our childhood together! Tom Cox, John Sullivan, Joey Mallen, Lou Rivoli and Ray just hanging out in West Hempstead by the firehouse. How the time goes by! His loss is immense, especially to you, his family. My heart goes out to all of you. Over the years, as I have related my childhhod stories to my friends and family, Bill always made it into those stories!...
