Not sure what to say?

I first got to know William Kubiak when the book Great Lakes Indians was published. My dad, Richard Baker, brought a copy home from work. I loved it! I regret that I never had the chance to meet him, but his legacy lives on through his artwork and the lives of those he touched. Dave Baker

We who produced the book, Bend in the River: The Story of Grandville and Jenison Michigan , are still so proud of the cover drawing that Mr. Kubiak did.
He will be missed.
Blessings and thank you.

Bill, I can't believe that you're gone. You were such a good man. I will always remember you as a teacher, an encourager, and a kind and caring man. You are irreplaceable.

We are saddened by the loss of your father/grandfather. We didn't know him, but reading about his passion for American Indians was very inspiring. I wish I could have met him! You will have many portraits to remember him by. What a wonderful legacy he left. God bless you all in your time of grief.
