We are so very sorry to hear about Bill. I will always treasure the memories of the fun times we had in Fort Gordon, your trip to N.H. to see us and the fun trip we took to see you when you first moved to Virginia.

My son, Seth, and Mr. Laird's son, John, are good friends having met at Valley Forge and they stayed in close touch as they pursued their military educations and surfing at VMI, The Citadel, and along the East Coast. John, we were very sorry to hear about your Dad, and while we never met him, we know he must have been very proud of your accomplishements and would have loved to see you graduate from the Citadel and be commissioned.
