Not sure what to say?

I may not have known Bill, but we share one common aspect in life. We both served in the US Navy Seabees during War. His time in the South Pacific , mine in the desert of Iraq.
GOD SPEED Shipmate! thanks for your Service to this Great County!

Dian and Joy,

I think the "Measure of the man" is in the legacy and the friendships he leaves behind. Bill certainly left everyone with memories about his points of view, his full life of activities, and his many, many accomplishments.

I'm glad I had the chance to have known him and to acquire my own many memories - family parties, fishing trips to central Oregon, and even the Airstream when it was new.

I'm sorry for your loss.

We will be remembering you, Grandpa as we take the trusty Airstream to Yellowstone in July.
Missing you and remembering you always!

Joy and Dian,
I met Bill at a party in 1980, he was wearing his cowboy hat! I would see him many years later at The Refectory and would share some tonics and stories many times over the last few years. He was fun to chat with, we even visited his wonderful beach home a few years ago, we always had a good laugh or too. I'm glad I got to know him, will miss his company. I told him you rented a home from my mom Alice and laughed about the dogs you had there! Would like to know where he...

Love you grandpa...

We have known Bill for several years but really enjoyed him in the Desert when he would journey around in his Airstream.
Bill always seemed to enjoy life in it fullest.
What wonderful memories you have of your Father/Grandfather.

Dian and Joy--
You might remember the first time we met, I said your dad reminded me a lot of my mom, who is still with us. It turns out their birthdays were 4 days apart. Mom was born 4/21/20. Lynda and I send our love and condolences.
