Though we never met in person and I never completed working on the family tree, I wish you peace now that you are at rest and thank you for your years of service and dedication.

Charles "Chuck" Maegley served with then Lt. William H. Lanagan Jr. at 8TH & I in Washington shortly after WWII. "He was an Officer who always looked out for his Marines."
