Not sure what to say?

As student at Shaw in Billy's class, I will always remember him as one of the nicest fellows I ever knew. Renewing our aquaintance at the Shaw luncheons these past years was always fun and his presence made it even more so. He seldom missed a luncheon. My husband, Chet, always enjoyed his stories about his "band years". Having spoken to him recently, I truly thought he'd be at the next gathering--always optomistic, and looking forward to any occasion with friends. Unfortunately, I just...

Dear Justine and Angie, you have my prayers, I am so sorry, just found out about Billy. He was one of the kindest men on this earth no one can ever replace him. Please call me Angie

My condolences to Billy's family. When I came off "the road" & returned to Cleveland in 1960, Billy hired me to sub on his working Big Band with Glenn Miller-type charts. I'll always be indebted to him for that kindness & we remained friends 'till I left Cleveland in 1984. May God Bless him!!! Al Javorcky (Hendersonville, TN)

Billy was my first trumpet teacher at Motter's Music from 1962-1968. I learned alot from him and will miss him. (I am still playing} My condolences to his family.

Dear Angela, Justine and family ... Billy and I had a beaufitul friendship stretching over 57 years beginning when we worked together on the Morning Bandwagon on WTAM. His musical talent with his trombone and his orchestras brought a lot of joy to audiences everywhere. I was always fun to be with him sharing reminiscences about the great entertainers we knew and worked with, and his extraordinary memory always amazed me. I'll keep him in my daily prayers for the eternal life he so richly...

Billy will dearly be missed. We send our condolences to Angela and Justine and family. We were great friends plus I had the honor of working with him in music for over 30 years. We oftentimes recalled the G H W Bush Inaugural Ball we performed in 1989 along with the hundreds of Front Row Theatre shows
and numerous Billy Lang Big Band jobs.
With fondest memories; may he rest in peace. Love, Tom, Ellen, and Tim Fries

Billy Lang brought sincere and loving fun, thoughts and conversation to the table. I had the honor of meeting him through the Lois Romano family in Billy's later years, joining him and Lois at breakfast at Eat at Joe's - the food was great, but the company was the best. Thank you too Billy for the enjoyment he brought to all our lives.

Our sincere condolences to the Lang family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
