We are so deeply saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We really enjoyed all the years we have been neighbors. One of our favorite things to do was to wave at Bill as he was out and about cycling around town. He was always so kind to us and our boys! We will never forget him sending us pictures from a plane one time while he was flying. That was so neat to see! Our prayers go out to Char and all of Bill's family. He will be missed!

sad to find out on his passing. He was a good and loyal man. He helped introduce me to cycling and his passion for it. He had many friends, and I was honored to have known him and to have rode many miles with him...my deepest sympathy to char and family....al

We enjoyed bicycling together usually daily in Alamo Texas. Bill took us on adventures of getting stuck in mud, being chased by weenie dogs, traveling to a 900 year old tree, a riding along the border fence. We will dearly miss our beloved friend.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We grew up together in church and Sunday school--First Christian and then Maple Lawn in Joliet. I also remember his parents and wife, Char. Condolences to the whole family. He will be missed. Sue Brown Porter
