Not sure what to say?

We knew Billy through social and events related to the American Legion. He was a very devoted member. Billy came to the last ceremony at Sunset Hill Cemetery in his wheel chair and was swarmed by well wishers. When you talked with him you KNEW he was your friend! SEMPER FI

Bill / Pope -
I got to know Billy through my grandfather, Downing Musgrove, in which we attended many fish fry's together. Everytime Grandaddy and Mr. Fats said we were meeting Billy I knew we were in for some laughs and good times. The last time we got to spend time with each other was on your lake in which he let every one know when he had a bream on. Very funny, kind and dependable man. A man amongst men. I and my family will miss him and our prayers are with you.

Mr. Langdale, to you and your wife Beverly: even though I was not blessed to have met your Father, my family and I did receive generosity through you. I'm sure your Dad was your perfect
example and he continues to live and give through you and your family

Bill, Your Father was a wonderful example of humility for all to emulate. Mankind is greatly improved by his compassion and love. Murray and Helen Marshall, Savannah, Georgia

Billy helped me get a start in the wood business in 1971. He was a good friend and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Mr. Billy on several occasions dealing with DOT business. His personallity made these occasions something I looked forward to. A good and humorous man that I respected and will miss. May God comfort and bless Mr. Billy's family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

On behalf of the teachers from the 8th grade Crimson teachers at Pine Grove Middle School where his granddaughter, Beth Haun, teaches, we offer our heartfelt sympathy at the loss of such a great man.
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
