I met Bill when he had the Creighton sports beat back in 1965-69. Along with being a professional journalist, Bill was a gentleman, and a friend. I am very proud of the article he wrote about me.
My sympathies to his family, but, take consolation, Bill is reporting sports and taking photos in heaven.
