Not sure what to say?

As I am much younger (14 years) I only knew Bill through family members...Aunt and Uncle - Helen and Grady Scott, my cousins Jean and Sally (close friends of Winnie)...I was saddened for the family and moved to this...

"His Smile"

Until the stillness moves in,
A smile is just an upward turn.

Then at once we realize,
How we miss "His Smile" as we yearn.

Yet, our memories take us back,
While we move to and fro....

Bill and I were born the same year in Williamson and went to WHS.

I grew up in Williamson, WV, and went to school with Bill's brother, Dick, for twelve years. I never got to know Bill all that well, but I wish I had, because he was one of those rare individuals who always wore a smile, and seemed to look on the bright side of life. My condolences to his immediate family, and to Dick and Winnie.

Bill was a senior at WHS when I
enrolled as a junior in Sept 1950.I
only knew him for one year, but we did become good friends. Bill was liked by everyone. He will be missed
