Not sure what to say?

I remember Bill telling me great stories about being in the army at Chanute Field , Illinois in World War II. Far from home, he recognized a familiar face from West Haven,CT . It was my father, Maurice Levine, who was attending Officer Candidate School there . He shared a number of stories in a charming way . May his memory be for a blessing!

On the anniversary of Bill's death, he is remembered as a loving father, a man of curiosity and a man who loved his family so deeply. His moral compass and his love and practice of Judaism have influenced those who knew him . May his family take comfort in knowing that his values will continue to guide them .

Ruth, thinking about you and your loved ones. May you all be at peace.

Carolyn Morris

Thinking of you and your family, Ruth. I'm very sorry for your loss.

My sympathy to Ruth and the entire famiy.

I will remember the curiosity and intellect of Bill. It was a
joy to hear him reminisce about his time in the army. He knew my father and he often told me of their time together in Chanute Field, Illinois during World War II. His daughter, Debbie, a very good
friend of mine, brought me to visit him at his home from time to time. His little jokes, his humor and his obvious love for his family were a pleasure to witness.
