Not sure what to say?

Hi Bill. Others are trying to erase your work & ministry. Though imperfect, Christ's work through you was impactful. Proud to be included with the Character Development team through several seasons. Not forgotten. Not overlooked. Forever cherished.

Even as a very young man, Bill was always a kindhearted old soul. Thinking of him on the anniversary of his passing, I am deeply saddened that he left this life too soon. I am grateful to have known him.

After 3 years Pastor Bill is still loved and missed. I think of him so often. He was such a blessing to all who knew him. Lenz family you are in our thoughts and prayers, especially as the holidays season is once again upon us. Blessings to you all.

I will never forget how Bill touched me and others with his kind heart and soul with the light of Christ. He will always be missed. Depression is even more present in this pandemic. Reach out to others if you see signs.

Even two years out, his face and words come to my mind.
Satan is alive and well....working hard to keep us from spreading good will on earth. The Word is Truth; embrace and cling to it with all that is in you. Bill would surely agree.

Dear Bob, i just heard today about bill, March 12, i am so sorry & saddened by this news

L ove u much!Joshua & Jacob30 years old, expecting to be a grandma soon!peace & love to u!

My sympathies to the family and the extended family. My heart sank and I grieved from the depths of my soul as I read about Pastor Bill's passing. I couldn't imagine the grief that all of you must feel at this time. I believe that I share the sentiments of many, as I believe, there is no one that can touch our hearts, with words from the throne room of our Heavenly Father, the way that Pastor Bill did for all of us. Pastor Bill was and is a gift to all of us. I have saved his sermon messages...

About 20 years ago, I moved into the Appleton area and stopped at the old Hardware store church. I heard Bill preach and I was hooked. I am thankful for Bill and CTR church and what they offered in my time of need and growth. I learned today of Bill's death. I don't live in the area any longer. I have been to other churches and there has not been another pastor that has moved me the way Bill did. Bill was humble, honest and real. My deepest sympathies to the Lentz Family. May you find...

When we were searching for a church, and tried CTR, it immediately became evident our search was over. Bill and the whole Lenz family provided the backdrop for our spiritual life. God blessed CTR and its outreach was felt far and wide. Now we are saddened and shocked by this loss, and sit silent before our Lord, who has promised never to leave us or forsake us. I know Bill would want us all to go on with our lives being used to praise and glorify the Lord. Pastor Bill certainly worked by his...
