The death of a loved one is always sad and often heart breaking. But the depth of my sadness at Billy's loss; and the way it clings to me has caught me off guard.
We didn't see each other that frequently over the years, but when we did I always looked for - and i think found- that spark of the beautiful laughing boy and young man that I grew up knowing. Seeing each other took us back to a much simpler past, and we'd stay there for as long as we could.
