I was lucky enough to work with Bill at DuBois. He was always positive, helpful and fun to be with beyond what words can describe. We were lucky enough to have dinner with Bill and Mary in Florida this past August. He had not changed at all, still the very friendly-lovable-direct man I worked with a real credit to our human race. I had not seen Bill for almost a quarter century and we picked up right where we had left off back in New England. He will be missed----George Saunders

He is at peace: his suffering is over.
