We met Bill Civil War re-enacting, He was a hard worker and he worked just as hard at playing. Lynne was cooking for the 26th NC , of which Bill was a part. He would light the cook fire every morning and fetch water to camp so we could cook breakfast. At the event at McGiver State Park in Oregon, held in early spring Bill decided to fetch water from the river as there was a line at the tap. First met Bill in the mountains walking down a logging road, ran into him occasionally over the years in Arlington. He was always a hoot, sorry for your loss.
