I remember Bill exactly the way you expressed his personality, warm, open hearted and a friend to many. Back when he was in college in Boston and I had a terrible breakup with my high school 'sweetheart' who was one of Bill's many close friends he drove me back to the Berkshires and let me drive his car part of the way from Boston so I could make it back to school on time. He was an empathic person with honorable and respectful boundaries and a very loyal friend who remembered and was there...

Sorry to hear of this loss. Bill lived around the corner from me. I was on Melrose Place and I remember hanging out on his lawn on Wyoming Avenue, having been friends with the Grey family next door. This photo is excellent, showing what a handsome man he was, looks like he did not age. Certainly, passed too soon. My sincere condolences to his family.
