TO THE LINDQUIST FAMILY, IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING, HOW SAD THE MANDELIN FAMLIY IS FOR THE PASSING OF BILL. HE WAS CERTAINLY A FATHER FIGURE TO MYSELF AND MY SISTERS WHILE WE GREW UP AND SPENT SO MUCH TIME AT YOUR HOUSE. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS WICKED SENSE OF HUMOR AND FUN. HE LOVED TO TEASE US, ESPECIALLY RUTH! I STILL SMELL HIS PIPE TOBACCO IN YOUR HOUSE, AND REMEMBER HIM CHASING CRICKETS OUT OF THE BASEMENT AFTER ALL OF OUR SCREAMING! HE ALSO DIDN'T HESITATE TO GET AFTER US, HIS...

Bill Lindquist was an attentive and very helpful teacher who had a wicked and wonderful sense of humor both in and out of the classroom (Clover Valley 1959-1962). He was just plain fun to be with at all times. He and his family are in my prayers. Jim Scott (Folsom, LA)

Norma and Family,
Sorry to hear about your lost of Bill. The two of you have been on my mind since I have not run into for a while. Bill has touched so many of us former students of Clover Valley. Having Bill for either English and Shop class there isn’t a day when I am not using some lesson or skill that was taught to me.
