Not sure what to say?

I just found out (2022) about Bill's passing. He taught me to fly in a Cessna 150 at OSU and he was the best instructor I ever had for any subject. I often remember his instruction to this day. I am glad our paths crossed. Condolences to his family and friends - the world needs more people like Bill.

Bill, was one of the best friends anyone could have had ! Bill you will be missed by many many people , you were a very important person in my young life !

Bill, was a first class pilot and instructor but most importantly, a first class human being. He will be missed, however, his spirit will continue to be with us at KOSU!

Bill will be missed by many people. I have fond memories of learning to fly with Bill. Especially the part where he gets out of the plane and says go do three landings for your first solo without any forewarning. Condolences to all of Bill's family. I will miss his smiling face.

Very sorry to hear. Now Bill has his own wings

Bill's signature can be found in the logbooks of literally hundreds of aviators in the Central Ohio area. His passion for aviation touched us all. Many thanks for sharing your knowledge & experience Bill!

Bill was a very generous, kind, and gentle teacher to the many aviation students who passed through his aviation program. After I lost my medial certificate, Bill filled the gap with my two sons. Bill will be remembered very fondly by many.

Sorry, got a radio call here at KOSU, interrupted my message.

Will always think of you when I am around C-7 and the east ramp.....

When I started work for OSU at the Airport, Bill was one of the first people I met. We had alot of fun over the years. Both Airplane and motorcycles. You will be missed.
