Chief Warrant Officer William W. Lipscomb (USAR RET) passed away peacefully in his sleep, November 3, 2025, at age 96. William served his country with exemplary honor and faithfulness for 21 years. He married his beloved wife, Elizabeth Potts, in 1952, and served his family with loving devotion from that point on. Preceding William in death is wife Elizabeth; brothers, Herbert E. and Stuart L. Lipscomb; sister, Patricia Hiter; and parents, William H. and Thelma Dean Lipscomb. In crossing over, William leaves behind one daughter, Mitzi McBride (Darrel); two granddaughters, Katherine and Bonnie; three great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at McDonald Cemetery with full military honors.
